WHO WE ARE

INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR AFRICAN CULTURE AND ARTS (ICACA)

International Centre for African Culture and Arts (ICACA) is a non-governmental cultural and development organization registered in Ghana. It is committed to the Research,Education, Promotion and  Preservation of African  culture and arts  in Africa and throughout the world. We are also committed to how culture affects development and impacts  the lives of the communities that practice it.

OUR MISSION:

I.C.A.C.A as a non-profit organization is dedicated to helping people understand and appreciate the positive traditions and local culture of everyday life--present and past in Africa, Africa Diaspora and throughout the world. To do so, ICACA seeks to research and preserve a record of diverse groups, customs and traditions; to recognize and empower traditional arts and artists; to identify and promote communal identity; and to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn about folklore and local culture of Africans and wherever they are found.
